May 2nd hosted the largest Cannabis/parade/art performance/extravaganja this year! Featuring all of my favorite people!

Mark Crystal and Tico are both veterans of the annual Cannabis Parade, it’s a shame that Dynasty Electric weren’t able to perform.
The march of the masks stole the show. With help from the amazing Niazja Blessed and Ceecee a handful of Guy Fawkes masks were spray painted and made ready to be handed out to marchers. Which is your favorite?
The parade marched down Broadway from 32nd st to Union Sq at 14th street where our stage was set up for the music acts! Colorful sign by Cj Statch Cureton and Niazja.
The cops were especially friendly, I mean if an alien Pot Pirate with his Bud Baby felt safe enough to be around.
Yes, that is a Jesus Saves sign, but I found God in the Ganja.
Stocked up on signs, masks and nerf guns, Occupy Weed St were ready for anything!
There was clearly one act more lively than any other. While the pillowy smoke rises from the ashes of the medicine, the town fool Matthew Silver somehow managed to wander onto the scene and, well, make a scene! While Matthew has always been keen on keeping his unique performance art straight edge and drug free it was not a clear issue.
While the onlookers (an participants) of Looping (as he calls it Now) were quite well medicated, a few did ask what drugs these nuts in their underwear had- just Love, Awareness and Creativity! THIS is the REAL revolution!
