NYC Bodypainting Day is on!!! My good friend Andy Golub (www.andygolub.com) started doing naked body painting in Time sq about the same time I started doing Free Hugs there. His story is amazing and now he has developed a large following and is recognized for his art and advocacy of women’s and men’s rights to be naked and topless in public spaces.

Bigger and Better in 2015!
On July 18th (rain date: July 19), 100 fully nude models of all shapes and sizes will be painted in the public streets at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, including volunteers from the public!
Website: www.BodyPaintingDay.org
There will be a small number of people from the public who can volunteer to get painted. If you’re interested in applying on-site, feel free to show up at the plaza between noon & 4pm.
SCHEDULE:
• The painting will take place from noon to 4pm at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 47th St at 2nd Ave
• Followed by a naked march to the United Nations 4pm – 5pm.
• Followed by 2 Double-Decker Buses around the City (artists and models only).
• Followed by a private after-party 7pm-9pm at No Malice Place at 197 E. 3rd St (*Artists, models & VIPs only*)
The theme “What the world needs now…” is designed to encourage artists to share their vision of what would make the world a better place. (Of course sharing their art with the world does that!)
NYC Bodypainting Day is a free, public art event created by Andy Golub in 2014. (http://andygolub.com/)
It celebrates freedom of artistic expression, body acceptance, and human connection through art.
